ExCel, London Tuesday 20 - Thursday 22 March 2012
Ecobuild once again demonstrated why it is the world’s biggest event for sustainable design, construction and the built environment and the UK’s largest construction event of any kind.
From its inception, Kemper System has championed a sustainable approach to effective waterproofing. At Ecobuild, we showcased our Kemperol 2K-PUR system, the UK’s first ever solvent-free wet-on-wet liquid waterproofing system which is based on an 80% castor-oil formulation sourced from sustainable crops, that utilises a flexible non-woven reinforcement fleece, manufactured using a 25% recycled content.
We also highlighted our other environmentally advanced products at Ecobuild, including the launch of our first ever complete green roof system, KEMPERGRO. Designed to enable specifiers to source a complete green roof from a single supplier, KEMPERGRO is a three layer green roof build up that is ideally complemented by Kemper System’s root resistant Kemperol waterproofing membrane range and is suitable for use with any sedum, plug plant or seed combination.
The company’s advanced roofing solutions on display at Ecobuild also included the Stratex warm roof system. Offering exceptional insulation performance, this system includes a range of matched components including primers, vapour barrier, thermal insulation and waterproofing. The rigid PIR board insulation has been designed with a unique tongue and groove interlocking joint that greatly reduces cold bridging and gives a much smoother surface finish on completion.
